Nov. 1 data: Utah records 10 deaths, 1,854 new COVID-19 cases

Utah reported 10 more Utahns who died from COVID-19 as well as a jump in hospitalizations after state and medical leaders have been warning that medical care is at capacity in the state. Three of the 10 deaths were people over 85. Identities of those killed are not released, but data about them is. The newly reported dead from were Box Elder, Carbon, Davis, Salt Lake and Utah counties. Every health district in the state has recorded at least one death.
