France’s five years of deadly terror – France 24

The stabbing in Nice is the latest in a string of terror attacks in France. In January 2015, 12 people were killed in an attack on the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, which had become a target after printing controversial cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed. In November the same year, a series of coordinated attacks killed 130, including 90 at the Bataclan music venue.
