As COVID-19 cases climb in Oregon, we look ahead to 2021

According to the White House, Oregon is now considered a “red zone” state, a far different picture from what Oregon saw just a few weeks ago. Three weeks ago, KATU News spoke to Dr. Jennifer Vines about what the next year would hold. “In March we felt like we were flying blind,” Dr. Vines said last week, as cases were averaging about 386 a day. As the story was produced and written, the situation changed dramatically. In the past seven days, the state has averaged almost 1000 cases daily.
